top and bottom images for menu

Using COOLjsTreePro.
I want to have a top image and bottom image for my menu. The bottom image, moves up below the top image and
hovers on the menu. I guess this is because of Layers.
Is there a way to have top and bottom images other than have them as nodes of the menu.

You can combine first menu item with the top image and last item with the bottom image - these two items can have special height...
