I've had CooljsMenu Pro since 2003 and I've never used it. Now that CoolBuilder is available I want to create a menu for my genealogy site.

First of all, I am a complete novice and rely upon wysiwyg programs to create everything I do.

Using the Generator in CoolBuilder I've created a test menu for my page. Generator creates 4 files.

file 1 = coolmenu.js
file 2 = menu_styles.css
file 3 = menu_items.js
file 4 = index.html

Would someone please be so kind as to help this old man with where in my homepage html document I need to place each of the above? I have tried and tried to work it out for myself with no luck. When I open the "index.html" file generated by CoolBuilder, I get nothing at all.

I know I am supposed to copy and paste the script/css language into my homepage html doc, but where do I place it? What goes inside the "Head" and what goes inside the "Body" of my html doc?

I want to place the menu in a frame. My HTML Editor will create the frame for me, but which of the above do I place in this frame to get the menu to show up on my homepage.

I'm hoping and praying some patient sole will take pity on me and in very simple terms tell me what I need to do. Embarassed

Thanks folks! I greatly appreciate it.

How about this link: FAQ #1. How a to add your menu to my page?

Alas, it won't help you if you are going to use the menu like this. If you really want this kind of installation, then contact me at javascript@cooldev.com, and I will help you.
